Charlie Wood

Charlie was in construction for 15 years before opening his home inspection practice in 1992. Since that time, he has performed home inspections, provided litigation support, and was Senior Vice President of LandAmerica Property Inspection Services, the largest property inspection firm in the US. Charlie is widely credited with creating the now nationally popular "one year warranty inspection", designed to help homeowners get what they have already paid for. He's also proud of having written the New Home Inspection Standards of Practice for the Georgia Association of Home Inspectors.

Jim Morrison

Jim started doing inspections for his family's firm in 1987. Soon after, he became involved with the American Society of Home Inspectors and served the organization continuously in many positions at both the local and national level. He's written scores of construction articles for dozens of trade publications, magazines, newspapers, and web sites both in the States and Mexico.

In 2007, Charlie and Jim teamed up to create Casas del Mar, and opened their first office in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. CdM specializes in property inspections and management all over the Banderas Bay. Our inspectors have the training and experience it takes to evaluate a building, teach you what you need to know, and write a professional report. Our business philosophy was sharpened in the States and that means we're committed to your satisfaction. We deliver on our promises on time and on budget.
